Dana Tiger Wellness Fund

Dear Friends,

I’d like to tell you about a worthwhile activity that I’m involved in with two other friends of Dana Tiger. As you know Dana suffers from Parkinson’s Disease which in the last year has become increasingly worse. The disease is now spreading to her upper body which makes it very difficult for her to continue painting as a Master Artist. Although she’s applied twice for SSI disability, she’s been denied. The only source of income for her family is from the sales of t-shirts, cups, and prints of her earlier work.

We are trying to raise money to get Dana special treatment using the new technology of her own stem cells to regeneration and repair existing cells in her body. A laboratory in the Dallas-Ft Worth area has had some remarkable results for people with Parkinson’s Disease with the use of this adult stem cell technology.(SSCMB: Society for the Study of Cellular and Molecular Biology).

We are trying to raise $25,000 because it’s likely that her Parkinson’s has progressed to the stage that it will require several series of treatments. We’ve set up a special bank account at BancFirst in Tahlequah called the “Dana Tiger Wellness Fund” that is managed by me, Margaret Raymond, and Pam Iron.

We are asking you to help us bring Dana’s health back to a level of wellness so she can continue her artistic contributions to carry-on the Tiger family name. We hope she can begin treatment as early as September 19th. We'll be giving periodic updates on her progress as as goes through treatment.

Checks can be make payable to the Dana Tiger Wellness Fund and mailed to Wathene Young, AIRC, 110 W. Choctaw St., Tahlequah, OK 74464. We can also take Credit Cards, if you call with the appropriate information.

If you'd like to talk further about this, please call or email me.

Thank you!
